Double Gameweeks for you, Double Gameweeks for you, Double Gameweeks for everyone!  Okay, not everyone, but 12 EPL teams participate in fantasy Premier League Double Gameweeks (DGW) over the next four weeks.  Arsenal, Southampton, and Manchester United each have two DGW’s during that span.  Players who routinely produce five point performances may not be worth the risk even if they have an FPL DGW, but players like James Ward-Prowse, Yohan Cabaye, and Marcos Rojo are worth the gamble as they have each produced multiple double digit performances this year.  With the DGW’s to prepare for I decided to include a few extra players in this week’s Squad Sheet.

Four FIVE Up:

James Ward-Prowse – Southampton, Midfielder, Age 22, 42% Owned

Gameweeks 26-29: 18 Points (9.0 Avg. – 2 Games)

Gameweeks 30-33: 24 Points (6.0 Avg.)

Upcoming Games: @CHE, HUL, @LIV/ARS, @MID/MUN

Advice: James Ward-Prowse has recorded three goals, one assist, and 13 key passes in his last nine appearances, which has led to five double digit outputs during that span.  Claim Ward-Prowse now, who is owned in 42% of Togga leagues, for the GW35 matchup versus Hull City and the back-to-back DGW’s in GW35 and GW36.

Yohan Cabaye – Crystal Palace – Midfielder, Age 31, 67% Owned

Gameweeks 26-29: 30.5 Points (10.16 Avg. – 3 Games)

Gameweeks 30-33: 51.5 Points (12.88 Avg.)

Upcoming Games: @LIV/TOT, BUR, @MCI, HUL

Advice: Yohan Cabaye has registered two goals and three key passes over his last two matches.  Crystal Palace have a DGW during GW34.  Liverpool and Tottenham are tough opponents, but Crystal Palace are playing well while Liverpool have a weak defense and the Tottenham match is at home.

Marcos Rojo – Manchester United, Defender, Age 27, 48% Owned

Gameweeks 26-29: 14.25 Points (7.13 Avg. – 2 Games)

Gameweeks 30-33: 43.75 Points (10.94 Avg.)

Upcoming Games: @BUR/@MCI, SWA, @ARS, @TOT/@SOT

Advice: Marcos Rojo has recorded four double digit fantasy outputs over his last six appearances.  Manchester United have DGW’s during GW34 and GW37.  If Rojo is in Manchester United’s starting XI during their first match of each DGW then he should be in your starting XI as well.  There is a chance that he will be rested during the second game, but Rojo is worth the gamble.  FYI, Rojo has started 10 of the Red Devil’s last 11 matches.

Ben Gibson – Middlesbrough, Defender, Age 24, 11% Owned

Gameweeks 26-29: 11.25 Points (3.75 Avg. – 3 Games)

Gameweeks 30-33: 43.5 Points (10.88 Avg.)

Upcoming Games: @BOU/SUN, @MCI, @CHE, SOT

Advice: Ben Gibson has recorded double digit fantasy points in three of his last four matches.  A young and talented defender, Gibson is being linked with several teams if Middlesbrough are relegated.  Middlesbrough have a DGW during GW34, both of which come against teams in the bottom half.  At 11% owned there is a good chance that Gibson is available in your league.

Stewart Downing – Middlesbrough, Midfielder, Age 32, 23% Owned

Gameweeks 26-29: 14 Points (7.0 Avg. – 2 Games)

Gameweeks 30-33: 43.5 Points (10.88 Avg.)

Upcoming Games: @BOU/SUN, @MCI, @CHE, SOT

Advice: Stewart Downing has recorded 9.5 or more fantasy points in four of his last five matches.  During that span Downing has tallied one assist and 10 key passes. Like Gibson above, Downing is entering a DGW against two teams in the bottom half of the league and is just 23% owned.

Four FIVE Down:

Andre Gray – Burnley, Forward, Age 25, 45% Owned

Gameweeks 26-29: 38.5 Points (9.63 Avg.)

Gameweeks 30-33: 5.5 Points (1.38 Avg.)

Upcoming Games: MID, @SUN, STO, BUR

Advice: Andre Gray has recorded zero goals over his last six appearances.  Gray did not start for Burnley during GW33 and was subbed off in his three previous matches.  Sam Vokes and Ashley Barnes look like Burnley’s prefered duo up front and they are one of eight teams who do not have the benefit of a DGW during the final stretch.  M’Baye Niang, Andre Ayew, and Divock Origi would each be a better option.

Victor Moses – Chelsea, Midfielder, Age 26, 75% Owned

Gameweeks 26-29: 15 Points (5.0 Avg. – 3 Games)

Gameweeks 30-33: 6 Points (3.0 Avg. – 2 Games)

Upcoming Games: SOT, @EVE, MID, @WBA/WAT

Advice: Victor Moses has had one double digit performance over his last eight outings.  Moses can be dropped for a player who has an upcoming DGW, such as Yohan Cabaye or Stewart Downing.

Leroy Fer – Swansea City, Midfielder, Age 27, 69% Owned

Gameweeks 26-29: 23.5 Points (5.88 Avg.)

Gameweeks 30-33: 17.5 Points (4.38 Avg.)

Upcoming Games: STO, @MUN, EVE, @SUN

Advice: Leroy Fer is full of potential, but with just five matches remaining he has failed to impress.  Fer’s 69% ownership is baffling as he has produced just one double digit performance over his last 17 appearances.  I would prefer Marc Albrighton, Yohan Cabaye, Granit Xhaka, or Jesse Lingard over Fer.

Charlie Daniels – Bournemouth, Defender, Age 30, 69% Owned

Gameweeks 26-29: 30.75 Points (7.69 Avg.)

Gameweeks 30-33: 12 Points (3.0 Avg.)

Upcoming Games: MID, @SUN, STO, BUR

Advice: Bournemouth have allowed nine goals over their last three matches.  They were difficult match-ups in Liverpool, Chelsea, and Tottenham, but the Bournemouth defenders have failed to live up to expectations this seasons despite the level of competition.  Charlie Daniels has had one double digit performance over his last 11 matches.  Drop Daniels for Phil Jagielka, Jose Holebas, Marcos Rojo, or George Friend – the later two have DGW’s during GW34.

Two THREE to Watch:

Wabi Khazri – Sunderland, Midfielder, Age 26, 3% Owned

Gameweeks 26-29: 1 Points (0.34 Avg. – 3 Games)

Gameweeks 30-33: 26 Points (8.66 Avg. – 3 Games)

Upcoming Games: @MID, BOU, @HUL, SWA/@ARS

Advice: Wabi Khazri recorded one goal, five key passes, two successful crosses, two shots on target, and two successful take ons during GW33 for an impressive 27.5 point return.  Khazri was highly touted during the pre-season, is just 3% owned, and Sunderland have week match-ups down the stretch.  If you miss out on the players with DGW’s then Khazri might be your guy.

Luka Milivojevic – Crystal Palace, Midfielder, Age 26, 9% Owned

Gameweeks 26-29: 24.5 Points (8.16 Avg. – 3 Games)

Gameweeks 30-33: 35.5 Points (11.83 Avg.)

Upcoming Games: @LIV/TOT, BUR, @MCI, HUL

Advice: Over his last three appearances Luka Milivojevic has recorded one goal, two key passes, seven aerials won, and 10 interceptions.  Milivojevic is 9% owned and has a DGW during GW34.

Harry Maguire – Hull City, Defender, Age 24, 15% Owned

Gameweeks 26-29: 24.5 Points (8.16 Avg.)

Gameweeks 30-33: 38.25 Points (12.75 Avg. – 3 Games)

Upcoming Games: WAT, @SOT, SUN, @CPL

Advice: Harry Maguire  has registered two goals, three key passes, seven successful take ons and eight clearances over his last three matches.  Hull have a favorable schedule to finish the year.
