“I just made my whole team Man City players.”

Ryan (via Twitter) is not wrong. To wit, I find myself aligned with him in GW6 rankings. The best selections in defense, midfield, and attack are incontrovertibly City players. Over their last three games, City boast the following ranks in productivity: Forwards: #1 (Aguero) and #3 (Jesus), Midfielders: #2 (KDB) and #7 (D-Silva), and Defenders: #3 (Mendy), #5 (Walker), and #9 (Otamendi).

Add Ederson, Sterling, Sane, and Stones to the above and you’d have a terrifying concoction, especially with Crystal Palace coming to the Etihad for a bare-bottom spanking.

But enough about City. Let’s get started.

  • Postscript from last week: Shaqiri was indeed brilliant, Cabaye was a Big Bag of Blah and Lossl had his first true stinker. Meanwhile, the Burnley centre backs stood around casually smoking cigarettes while Liverpool took 30 bad shots, 19 of which came from outside the area. Oh, and Gabbiadini was benched. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  • Studs: Wenger will have selection nightmares with Alexis and Ozil now fit. Bellerin, Kolasinac and Koscielny should find healthy output vs. an inept Baggies attack. Shifting north, Gylfi has yet to look comfortable, let alone good in an Everton shirt, but with Dominic Calvert-Lewin / Oumar Niasse giving him something to aim at, I like his chances at finding gaps – and his first assist – against Bournemouth’s shaky defense.
  • Duds: Slaven Bilic, who can’t help himself with emo outburts, gently crapped on Hammers dreams when calling his strikers’ partnership “almost impossible.” I’m steering clear of West Ham until Bilic changes meds or gets sacked. And back to Liverpool, not one those defenders can be trusted. Between squad rotation and poor play, Liverpool have nobody inside the top 25. Joe Gomez, ranked #27 in Togga, hasn’t featured since GW3. Leicester are coming off successive wins vs. the Reds.
