<3 me some Togga though, so let’s get started!

  • Postscript from GW14: Stoke were bad, Shaqiri was worse, and thanks to a key pass and a few interceptions, VvD wasn’t a total disaster.
  • Studs: According to not just Togga’s scoring, but Whoscored, Cesar Azpilicueta is quietly putting together his best EPL year yet in a Blues shirt, making him worthy of a top 3 start until further notice. The Amanda Staveley takeover can’t come soon enough for Newcastle and their manager’s seemingly unimpeachable reputation has protected him from some much-deserved criticism. Look for Chelsea to further exploit the Magpies’ uncertainties and for Cesar to play a big role in that. Papiss Cisse, now plying his trade for Shandong Luneng Taishan F.C., won’t be coming to the rescue.
  • Duds: It was tempting early on to think Delph could tuck in as a left fullback and get involved in the City attack while handling his defensive duties but recent outings have shown that maybe he was just a fresh set of legs after all. Without the defender’s designation and the tantalizing possibility of clean sheets, he’s simply an average midfielder at best in Togga format (or any other). Ashley Young, he most certainly is not.
